Job Description

Fidelity Digital Assets℠ is an exciting new business unit focused on bringing emerging concepts to life in the digital asset arena and providing these solutions to Fidelity clients and prospects. It is the initial step towards a long-term vision to create a comprehensive enterprise-grade platform for storing, trading, and managing eligible digital assets.

The Role

In this role, you will collaborate with business partners throughout Fidelity and externally. Be an integral part of the initial build, from the design of the forms to the development of policies and procedures. The Project Manager will play a crucial role in continuing to establish the foundation of our Fidelity Digital Assets℠ Services Tax capabilities and will be tasked with seeking out and driving new projects that enhance the value to the business. Key focus areas that will require support include:

• Developing & implementing tax reporting, state withholding remittance and reporting, managing projects for information reporting, and hosting retrospectives.
• Creating policies and procedures for tax forms and the state withholding process.
• Collaborating across Fidelity and with external business partners to ensure the most accurate and complete reporting for our clients, incorporating business partners into the development process.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Preferred experience in project management.
• Deep knowledge of tax regulations.
• Experience with withholding and remittance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for diverse teams in cross-collaborative environments.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Timely and successful delivery of tax forms to clients, as well as remittance to state and federal governments.
• Capability to go beyond basic analysis to help with strategy on key business decisions.
• Proficiency in explaining complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
