About the Role

We launched our first product, Subgraphs, last year and have onboarded hundreds of clients, including Zora, Optimism, POAP, NounsDAO, 0x Labs, Immutable, Hashflow, Arweave, and Polymarket. Recently, we began rolling out access to Mirror, a comprehensive data pipeline solution for streaming onchain data directly to an existing offchain database.

We’re seeking a Marketing pro to define and execute our product marketing strategy for all GTM campaigns, covering product launches, content launches, brand marketing, events, and documentation. You’ll own the success of our product, brand, and content, using data to shape and refine our strategy over time. Collaborate closely with the founders and the entire Goldsky team (product, engineering, and growth) to bolster Goldsky’s brand presence and reliably drive inbound demand.

We anticipate a standout candidate to have at least 4-6 years of relevant experience, though exceptional candidates may have varied backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in continuous market research to gather insights on target markets and customer needs, informing positioning and product strategy, and spotting marketing campaign opportunities. Master the intricacies of the industry like no other.
  • Partner with the Goldsky team to deeply understand our products and customers, transforming these insights into broadly engaging content that educates and drives inbound demand.
  • Develop and manage Goldsky’s content calendar across channels, projects, and campaigns, considering broader market trends and audience behavior. Monitor content performance to drive ongoing improvements.
  • Advocate for Goldsky across multiple platforms, engaging with our ecosystem, answering questions, and elevating Goldsky’s profile with an engaging, fresh, and knowledgeable perspective (including the occasional shitpost).
  • Brainstorm, pitch, and execute initiatives to enhance Goldsky’s brand presence, backed by a budget. This could include SEO, SEM, referral campaigns, contests, B2B2C partnerships, webinars, and more.

Requirements

  • *Creative and thoughtful writer adept at adapting key messages for different audiences and channels. Capable of building credibility for a new product with technical and non-technical content.
  • While not needing to be an engineer, you should quickly grasp the technical aspects of Goldsky’s developer-facing products, effectively communicating these value propositions to varied technical audiences.
  • Experienced in managing multiple workstreams end-to-end and creating analytics to measure their success, supported by necessary data tools, to enhance performance over time.
  • Active user of Twitter, Discord, LinkedIn, Farcaster, and Reddit, both as a reader and writer. Having built a presence on one or more of these channels is a plus.
  • Proven success in an early-stage startup (3+ years), remote-first environment (1+ years), and/or in marketing at a crypto company (1+ years). At least one of these is mandatory.

Bonus Points

  • Proficiency with crypto data (Dune/Flipside analytics) and the ability to convert analytics into engaging content.
  • Experience working with highly technical products and customers, especially in B2B SaaS or developer tooling.
