CoW DAO is on a mission to safeguard Ethereum users from the perils of DeFi. We achieve this by supporting the development of CoW Protocol, CoW Swap, MEV Blocker, and CoW AMM. Additionally, we fund values-aligned projects through the CoW Grants Program.

CoW Protocol ranks as the second-largest DEX aggregator by monthly volume and is the top intents-based exchange. MEV Blocker leads the category, involved in ~4% of all Ethereum transactions. CoW AMM is the only live AMM that shields LPs from LVR (loss-versus rebalancing).

About the Role

Location: Fully remote team, preference for Europe or within a +/- 5-hour window of CEST. Not hiring from the USA.

Position: Full-time contractor

CoW DAO is seeking a strategic and creatively-driven Product Marketing Manager to spearhead messaging and campaign development across our product suite.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies for product and feature launches, in partnership with the business development, product, engineering, and data teams.
• Drive consumer comprehension of CoW DAO product benefits through continuous initiatives addressing consumer needs.
• Gain deep insight into CoW DAO’s target audiences, both qualitatively and quantitatively, and craft narratives that resonate emotionally and rationally.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and shape product narratives to position CoW DAO products favorably.
• Simplify complex product features into clear customer benefits.
• Brief internal creative resources to develop campaign assets and guide the work to maximize effectiveness.
• Define success metrics in collaboration with the data team and regularly report performance.
• Foster excellent relationships with internal teams to understand needs, metrics, roadmaps, and processes, driving collaboration across marketing, product, engineering, and research teams.
• Own the execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery with strategic and creative excellence.

Who You Are

• Motivated by both strategic and creative excellence.
• Experienced in:
  • Creating and maintaining strategic documents like briefs, messaging architectures, comms plans, etc.
  • Managing campaign delivery from creative briefing to asset trafficking.
  • Developing and reporting on relevant KPIs, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative audience research.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication in English.
• Exceptional project management skills.
• Enthusiastic about crypto and DeFi.
• Collaborative and insightful.
• Solid understanding of web2 and web3 marketing strategies.
• Able to distill complex ideas simply with high attention to detail.
• Possesses great taste.
• Willingness to travel internationally for work.
• Entrepreneurial, thrives on identifying and acting on opportunities for impact.
