About The Role

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Avara, you will lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of personalized machine learning algorithms tailored to the Lens API. Your expertise will be pivotal in helping users discover meaningful content and connections, significantly boosting user engagement and satisfaction across the platform.

How You Can Make An Impact

• Develop and refine ML algorithms to enhance user engagement on the protocol.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Monitor and maintain the performance of machine learning models and systems.
• Oversee the end-to-end process of deploying machine learning models into production environments, ensuring they are scalable and performant.
• Advocate for and implement best practices in machine learning and data science.
• Engage with the wider Lens community to gather insights and feedback on machine learning features.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in machine learning and decentralized technologies.

Let’s Connect If

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in roles such as Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist, with a strong preference for experience in social networking or e-commerce.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, with extensive experience in ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Keras.
• Solid grasp of various machine learning techniques and their foundational principles.
• Demonstrated experience in designing, building, and deploying scalable machine learning systems in a production environment.
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are driven by the opportunity to innovate and shape the future of decentralized social networking.
• Strong belief in blockchain technology with a passion to contribute meaningfully to its practical application in the real world.
