What We Are Doing:

We are forging derivative infrastructure to transform Ethereum into the Internet Bond via delta-neutral derivatives positions, creating the first crypto-native, rewards-bearing savings asset: sUSDe. Our goal is to craft a synthetic dollar independent of existing banking infrastructure, which we believe to be the single most crucial problem to solve and the largest opportunity in cryptocurrency today. USDe will serve as the cornerstone of a broader ecosystem of products we are developing, including fixed and floating rate internet bonds and composable repo leveraged markets.

We are on the lookout for a Senior/Staff Security Engineer to join us on this thrilling journey, ensuring the security and resilience of our platform as we expand.

The Role:

As a Senior/Staff Security Engineer, you will be at the cutting edge of securing the next generation of decentralized financial technology. You will take charge of building and maintaining our platform’s security infrastructure, working across both on-chain and off-chain components. Protecting our users and ensuring the integrity of our systems in the rapidly evolving crypto and DeFi landscape will be your primary focus.

This is a chance to make a substantial impact by contributing to a key part of our platform. You will be engaged in every layer of security, from threat modeling and incident response to developing automation tools that streamline our operations. You’ll collaborate closely with our development, DevOps, and product teams, embedding security into the core of our products while staying ahead of emerging threats.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and implement security architectures: Create features for both on-chain and off-chain components of the platform, ensuring defense against vulnerabilities and threats.
• Identify and mitigate risks: Perform threat modeling, security hardening, and vulnerability assessments across the full tech stack.
• Lead incident response efforts: Act as the main point of contact for security incidents and coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve issues swiftly.
• Conduct regular penetration testing and forensic investigations: Ensure identified security weaknesses are addressed promptly.
• Develop security tools and automation scripts: Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our security operations.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams: Integrate security best practices into every stage of the software development lifecycle.
• Stay updated on security trends: Continuously improve our security posture with innovative solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in a security engineering or DevSecOps role, with demonstrated expertise in full-stack software security (back-end, front-end, and DevOps).
• Proficiency in designing and implementing robust security architectures for cloud-based systems, and strong experience in securing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in incident detection, forensic investigations, and spearheading security incident response.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, principles, and best practices, with a proactive approach to risk management.
• Ability to effectively communicate security requirements and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with crypto/web3 technologies, including smart contract audits, is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, Sec+, or similar are a plus.
