However, building high-quality products is challenging due to the complexities involved in processing onchain data. Development teams are compelled to create intricate data infrastructures in-house, diverting their focus from their core products.

Goldsky bridges this gap by making it seamless for developers to power their applications with realtime onchain data. Our infrastructure supports hundreds of industry projects, enabling them to build rich, instant, data-driven experiences. We’ve secured over $20M in funding from Dragonfly Capital, Felicis Ventures, industry leaders such as 0x Labs, Uniswap Labs, Protocol Labs, and angel investors including Elad Gil, Plaid founders Zach Perret and William Hockey, and Zhuoxun Yin of Magic Eden. Our team members have experience building mission-critical, scalable infrastructure at Meta, Google, Shopify, Activision, among others.

About the Role

We launched our first product, Subgraphs, last year. Since then, we’ve onboarded hundreds of customers, including Zora, Optimism, POAP, NounsDAO, 0x Labs, Immutable, Hashflow, Arweave, and Polymarket. Recently, we've rolled out access to Mirror, an end-to-end data pipeline solution for streaming onchain data directly to existing offchain databases.

As we grow, we seek a Frontend Engineer pivotal in crafting intuitive, dynamic, and high-performance user interfaces. This role involves close collaboration with our product and design teams to deliver a seamless user experience, ensuring our platform is both powerful and user-friendly.

Responsibilities

• Develop User Interfaces: Create and maintain intuitive and responsive user interfaces for complex data-driven applications. You’ll build the frontend for our cutting-edge Web3 data products.
• Collaborate with Design and Product Teams: Work closely with design and product teams to transform wireframes and prototypes into high-quality code. Ensure a cohesive, accessible, and performant user experience.
• Optimize Performance: Identify bottlenecks to ensure our web applications are fast, responsive, and optimized for all users, including optimizing load times and efficiently managing state.
• Problem-Solve on the Fly: Tackle novel problems in this new industry, consistently finding “good enough” solutions and iterating to the right solution over time.
• Build Systems Incrementally: While we embrace ‘throw-away work’ when needed, we aim for sustainable scaling. You should balance building incrementally with a vision for future architecture.

• You are passionate about building clean, scalable, and maintainable frontend architectures. Experience with modern frontend frameworks like JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Svelte, and similar tools is required.
• You enjoy both high-level strategy work and hands-on implementation, getting excited about seeing users interact with the interfaces you build.
• You are curious and have low ego, always looking to improve, experimenting with strategies, tactics, and tools to find success. Open to feedback and collaboration.
• You are excited to join a high-growth, fast-paced startup, comfortable in an ambiguous, remote environment with minimal structure.
• You enjoy building long-term relationships with teammates and customers.
• You’re open to learning more about the world of crypto.

Bonus Points If

• You feel comfortable with backend or data engineering.
• You have experience working with highly technical products and customers, particularly in B2B SaaS.
• You are crypto native, familiar with the broader ecosystem, and understand how Goldsky will unlock new experiences and applications in Web3.
