Ellipsis Labs is a profitable, venture-backed startup based in New York, focusing on innovative products and infrastructure in decentralized finance. The company has built Phoenix, a leading order book spot exchange on the Solana blockchain, and ranks among the top 10 DEXs (decentralized exchanges) with over $50B in volume since its inception in 2023. Currently, Ellipsis Labs is working on Atlas, a blockchain initiative dedicated to verifiable finance, merging the performance of traditional finance with the transparency of DeFi.

The Role

We are seeking a brand and digital marketing associate to enhance our brand presence and spearhead marketing strategies for Ellipsis Labs, Phoenix, and future projects. This role involves working closely with the CEO and Head of Growth to provide strategic guidance and achieve tactical results. You will manage the marketing function comprehensively.

Responsibilities

Social Media Management:

• Administer and expand social media accounts for Ellipsis Labs, Phoenix, and forthcoming projects.
• Develop and execute content ideas and brainstorming sessions.
• Formulate growth strategies for evolving Twitter accounts of upcoming projects.
• Generate creative strategies to attract users and maintain activity during quiet periods.
• Design and manage campaigns for community, user, and developer engagement with sustainable outcomes.
• Track campaign success and refine strategies as needed.

Content Creation:

• Supervise graphic creation or direct outsourcing processes.
• Draft outlines for tweets, blog posts, and technical articles.

Community Engagement:

• Create and apply a community engagement plan.
• Set up Discord moderation, structure, and safety bots, collaborating with a community moderator.

Launch Strategies:

• Develop and implement launch strategies for new products and updates.
• Orchestrate strategic announcements and work with PR teams.

Collaborations and Co-Marketing:

• Oversee collaborations and co-marketing initiatives with partners and other ventures.

Requirements

Location:

• Willing to work in person at our NYC office M-F (5 days per week).

Crypto Experience:

• Strong familiarity or previous involvement in the crypto industry.
• Understanding of crypto culture and community dynamics.

Marketing Experience:

• 2+ years in content marketing across various platforms.
• Strong copywriting capabilities with adaptability to different tones.
• Creativity with a strong portfolio demonstrating previous marketing campaigns and growth metrics.
• Understanding of branding and positioning within the crypto sector.
